Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who turned up yesterday, especially those who presented their work. We hope you all enjoyed the day, and met some new people as well!

For the record, the winner of the quiz competition was Rose Lerner from Lancaster. The person who came closest to speaking for 10 minutes without going over was Anna Kostouki from King's College London. Finally, the winners of the 'Best Losers' prize for the shortest and longest talks were Adam Christopherson (7m40s) and Carlos Hidalgo (16m10s), both from Queen Mary, University of London.

Good luck to everyone with their work, hopefully we will be able to do something like this again sometime,

 Will, Ian, Alex and Gavin
